I have been contemplating moving my 2 yr old out of the crib…very nervous. My older son didn't give a hard time but the little one is a much different personality. I was thinking of making the crib into the toddler bed so it would feel too unfamiliar. I think the hardest thing is getting him to stay in the bed and not roam around the house playing.

We recently moved our 2 year old into his big boy bed. It took a few nights and he now insists on taking two blankies, a train and a truck, as well as being wedged in on each side by a guard and pillow, but he is finally happy. It's all too hard when there's no sleep though – I'm sure the return to the cot was a relief for everyone!
