Turned out great. Saving the recipe to make it again. Nice texture and flavor.

I’m glad I read reviews before making this. It seemed like a lot of batter for a loaf pan, so I used a tube pan. Just took it out ..
It smells delicious. I used 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract and 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract. It’s not very brown, but cake tester came out clean. Can’t wait until it’s cool enough to glaze and taste!

Scrumptious! Opted to make two loaves verse one and it was spot on!

Ugh! Thanks for the info. I keep testing this recipe again and again and it always works for me, I can’t figure out why others are struggling with it! I will keep working on it!

Unfortunately had the same overflowing issue. Followed the recipe exactly, loaf pan size listed and it overflowed pretty severely in the oven. Hopefully still tastes good and I can even out as the part that overflowed is underdone, while the other side is brown.

It’s made a huge mess and doesn’t even look appetizing. I saw another comment saying maybe the discard was still too fresh but mine was weeks old without being fed. I would definitely divide this into two pans or halve the recipe.
