Typically people do use the broiler for charring, but you can use it like a reverse mini indoor grill, too! You can absolutely broil your meatballs and they will turn out lovely, and be nice and crispy on the outside. Make sure your oven rack is at least 6 inches below your broiler so that the meatballs aren’t directly on top of the flame.

I’m wondering how I can make sure the meat is cooked thoroughly. Typically I put on the broiler for 5 mins max, or else the food burns.
