Thanks for your feedback, Rosalyn! This recipe was intended for families sharing with babies and toddlers, so it does have very little salt in it. If you normally eat more salt than a toddler, you might find it on the more bland side! Glad you were able to add more seasonings and make it work for you!

It’s okay as a base recipe. No seasoning at all was bland to even my spice averse mom. I added the chimichurri straight to the dish and added some salt, garlic and onion powder and some parsley. It came together then. I totally get it’s been flavored for maybe less experienced palettes so I appreciate the idea and that everything worked together. Just needed a little loving.

We had a lot of ground beef and needed to use some up. I sort of doubled the recipe , but didn’t get all the proportions right, I just put in a little over a cup of corn, but doubled the meat. Even with fumbling around with the proportions, it turned out great! We just loved it!
